Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga_Military Groups

Freedom Rein Groups extends a unique form of healing through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy tailored specifically for military personnel and first responders. Beyond conventional talk therapy, participants immerse themselves in an environment where connection is fostered not necessarily through dialogue but through shared interactions with horses and fellow comrades who understand the intricacies of military and first responder life. As they engage with the horses, they discover parallels between the dynamics of the paddock and the challenges they face in their everyday lives. Our therapy horses become companions, offering a silent yet profound form of solidarity, empathy, and understanding. In the presence of these trusted allies, healing becomes not merely a goal but a natural consequence of this communal exchange—a testament to the resilience and camaraderie inherent in the military spirit and beyond.

Our group protocol is an 8-week program that meets once a week for 1.5 hours. You can expect to be surrounded by a very intimate group of 4-6 Service Members and First Responders all working toward a common goal.
